A unique Center for vacations and courses, for holidays, relaxation, active vacations, and continuing education in one of the world's most beautiful landscapes.

Salecina is a unique center for educational purposes and recreation:it is no hotel, no refuge cabin, no youth hostel.
Salecina is the ideal place for your vacation: open all year round, and equally suitable for individual guests, families, groups and classes. All can easily make themselves feel at home here!
What is it that makes Salecina so special?
- Its magnificent location in the famous Upper Engadin (St. Moritz) at the Maloja pass, 1,800 meters high and close to the border to Italy and the Valley of Bregaglia, in one of the most beautiful landscapes on earth. In summer you can bathe in a sea of flowers, and in snowy winter it remains easily accessible.
- Sojourners from all over Europe regularly make Salecina their favourite meeting-point. Their different languages and backgrounds as well as their differences in age help create many interesting conversations, discussions and encounters on site.
- Guests organize themselves, this is the keyword for understanding the Salecina philosophy: During their stay, guests join hands for cooking, setting the tables and doing the washing-up, it is themselves who take turns with daily cleaning jobs around the house, everyone contributes their share to each other's well-being.
- You may also find (or initiate yourselves) seminars all year around, on politics, dance, history, languages (Italian and German), ecological issues, choir singing, skiing etc.
- Ecology is another word writed large in Salecina: wood from the region is used for the heating, for food and beverages, too, regional products are favoured; in Salecina, guests also get an opportunity to understand what it means to grow a compost on the climate level of 1,800 meters.
